With its tough, muscular design, Brand-New Mazda BT-50 showcases a progression of Mazda’s acclaimed Kodo design language to offer something completely new, yet familiar to the popular ute market customers.

It’s the culmination of years of experience and customer feedback to understand just what Australians want and need from their utes. And the result is exciting – a bold new design that gives Brand-New Mazda BT-50 an unmistakable road presence, underpinned with the capability and safety credentials that give peace of mind no matter the adventure.

 

Mazda’s Kodo design language is acclaimed for using strong body crease lines and sculpted panels that breathe life into a vehicle even when it’s stationary, creating an interplay of light, shade and ever changing relfections. Applied to Brand-New Mazda BT-50, powerful crease lines run from the edge of its signature wing and front grille out to the wing mirrors. Then, moving back the sculpting of the doors allows the light to play and offer depth and strength to body colours, particularly the new GunBlue Mica and Concreate Grey Mica. The shoulder line that runs down the side of the vehicle into the tailgate eventually ends holding the Mazda marque to create an unbroken centre line that flows from front to rear.

 

Undoubtedly, this is one ute with serious road presence and a static stance that says ‘Let’s go. Anywhere. Now’.

But Brand-New Mazda BT-50 is more than just a great exterior. Mazda’s focus on human centric design ensures an interior fit for purpose and beyond.

It’s a tough, durable environment but with comfort, style and premium finish to take the fatigue out of travel.

Seats are designed to wrap around the body and are adorned in soft, durable leather. Soft touch fabrics extend to the dash and door trim, enhancing a sense of premium comfort in the wide cabin.

The technology packed into Brand-New Mazda BT-50 is simply unrivalled too, with standard Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane-Keep Assist System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, capped off with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

 

Developed in partnership with Isuzu, it’s capable on and Off-road too. The 3.0-litre diesel engine packs an impressive 140kW power and a hefty 450Nm torque, with excellent fuel economy to boot.

In terms of carrying and towing, Brand New Mazda BT-50 plays at the top of the segment with over 1,000kg payload and 3,500kg towing capacities.

With locking rear diff, 4x4 high and 4x4 low and a wading depth of 800mm, it’s worth planning an off-the-beaten track adventure now.
