Mazda brings Bumplings to the east coast’s Night Noodle Markets
Cooking – like automotive design – is an art form. It takes patience, precision, and a flawless understanding of parts and their sum, to produce something truly special.
Just as a chef cooks with flour and water, a Mazda master craftsman, or Takumi, works with metal and leather to create. In isolation, flour and steel are just that – ingredients. But, when moulded with a deft hand and an expert eye, they are transformed into paragons.
Take dumplings, for example. These bite-sized bundles of joy require calculated movements and supreme punctiliousness to turn a spoonful of mixture and dough into a perfect parcel of flavour.
It’s a craft honed over several years and countless dumplings, as Mazda ambassador, chef and Bumplings restaurant owner, Brendan Pang, can attest.
Brendan’s skills will be on show, and his wares available to taste, at a special Mazda x Bumplings experience at the upcoming Night Noodle Markets, which Mazda is proud to support as the official automotive partner.
The celebrated open-air, hawker-style event champions the best of Asian street food, and the Mazda x Bumplings experience will give eventgoers a unique taste of Japan with Brendan’s curated menu of dumplings.
Brendan has even created a bespoke, shimmering Soul Red Crystal sauce inspired by Mazda’s iconic paint colour.
Mazda drivers have the key to free dumplings
Bring your Mazda key when heading to the event. For the first 60 minutes of each day at the Night Noodle Markets, we are giving all Mazda drivers a complimentary serving of dumplings in a flavour of your choice.

Pork & ginger dumplings
Lip-smacking dumplings filled with pork and just the right amount of ginger
Chicken & prawn dumplings
Filled with the perfect pairing of juicy chicken and fresh prawns
Vegetarian dumplings (V)
Fresh, aromatic and filled with a delicious mix of sautéed vegetables
The Night Noodle Markets are highly anticipated after a two-year hiatus, and we can’t wait to see our east coast Mazda community there as we enjoy the art of a dumpling.
