Safety, comfort and style boosts for Mazda CX-9

Mazda has upgraded its flagship CX-9 SUV for 2020 by adding a host of safety and luxury equipment.

The car’s advanced dynamics technology includes G-Vectoring Control Plus (GVC Plus), which improves handling and vehicle stability in corners, while the all-wheel-drive models are fitted with Mazda’s new Off-Road Traction Assist system, which adjusts the traction control to enhance rough-road ability.

Improved adaptive LED headlights enhance night-time visibility, and pedestrian protection has been added to the autonomous braking system.

Other improvements include the option of a tailgate that can be opened and closed by a kick gesture below the rear bumper. In addition, access to the third row of seats is easier thanks to the installation of a switch that tilts the middle-row seats forward. Added USB ports allow those in the very back to keep devices charged.

Azami trim replaces Azami LE, with the Nappa leather trim offered in Pure White or Walnut Brown. New wheels, badging and a new key fob design cap off the changes. The updated Mazda CX-9 is on sale now. Find out more at mazda.com.au/cx-9
