FIRST-EVER MAZDA CX-60

WHAT THE PRESS HAVE TO SAY

In late 2022, the First-Ever Mazda CX-60 was previewed to Australian media for the first time on our shores up close and ‘in the metal’, as a precursor to local media drives due to be held later this year.

A pre-production version of the premium SUV – featuring the all-new e-Skyactiv PHEV plug-in hybrid powertrain in flagship Azami specification and finished in elegant Machine grey paintwork – was presented to give the media an in-depth look at its sharp exterior design, exemplary interior craftsmanship and quality. It was also an opportunity to learn about the expansive equipment levels offered across the Evolve, GT and Azami model specifications available for the Australian market.

Here’s what some of Australia’s leading motoring outlets had to say:

“As they say, if you’re going to aim for the king, you better not miss, and Mazda know they are taking on very established luxury brands and at first glance and at first sit, the CX-60 feels high quality enough inside to do that” – Chasing Cars

“The sense of luxury in this cabin is all encompassing; it’s the finest Mazda cabin we have ever sat in… the fit and finish is divine” – Carsales

“The first thing you notice in the back is how much room there is – I’m 6ft3 and I’ve got a stack of knee room and huge amount of toe room. It’s pretty comfy back here. The leather quality and softness is really nice too” – Drive

“Mazda Australia’s strategy for a long time has been to move into the premium end of the market, and the CX-60 really does push it further into that territory” – Wheels

The First-Ever Mazda CX-60 is available to order now, and can be equipped with a 2.5-litre PHEV (Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid), a 3.3-litre inline six-cylinder turbo petrol MHEV or a 3.3-litre diesel, also with a six-cylinder turbo MHEV layout.
