FIRST-EVER MAZDA CX-90

WHAT THE PRESS HAVE TO SAY

Australia’s leading motoring publications recently enjoyed a local preview drive of the first-ever Mazda CX-90 ahead of its official Australian media launch and showroom release, both scheduled for later this year.

A CX-90 Azami finished in stunning Artisan Red Metallic was specially shipped to the famous Lang Lang proving ground outside Melbourne for the special event, which was held in April. This pre-production example of Mazda’s most powerful production car to-date gave editors and journalists their first driving impressions of the company’s all-new range-leading SUV. They also received first details about the complete Australian-market CX-90 model range, including equipment specifications and the depth of work underpinning the CX-90’s outstanding quality levels.

Common among the many first impressions were the CX-90’s exceptional driving dynamics, comfort, and craftsmanship, all of which combine to set a new standard for grand SUV touring.

Here is a sample of what the Australian media had to say about the first-ever CX-90:

“Mazda is offering a higher level of luxury, along with a cracking new drivetrain that will elevate this vehicle into another bracket entirely.” – CarExpert.com.au

“It is big, bold, powerful, engaging, and has a genuinely high-end interior.” – CarsGuide.com.au

“…anything European of similar size and performance is a lot more expensive.” – carsales.com.au

“As a big family cruiser with the capabilities and quality Aussie buyers now demand, we reckon the CX-90 has it in the bag.” – GoAuto.com.au

“Eye-catching design inside and out? Check. Plush cabin appointments and a powerful stereo? Yep. Powerful yet smooth combustion engines and sophisticated suspension? Tick.” – WhichCar.com.au

The first-ever Mazda CX-90 SUV is available to order now.

Customers can choose from two powerful and torque-rich 3.3-litre inline six-cylinder engines: a 254 kW petrol unit or a 550 Nm turbo-diesel.
