A new era of Mazda is almost upon us as Next-Gen Mazda3 was unveiled at the LA Auto Show in November. The first of Mazda’s seventh generation of vehicles will go on sale in 2019 and brings with it a great leap forward in design, engineering and technology to offer unparalleled driving enjoyment.

The Next-Gen Mazda3 exterior design embodies the essence of Japanese aesthetics and represents an extraordinary new evolution of Mazda’s Kodo Design philosophy.

Further design evolutions continue inside Next-Gen Mazda3. The undeniably premium interior incorporates the “less is more” ideal which creates a beautiful and comfortable environment in which the car and driver can engage in perfect harmony.
In a special touch, burgundy was newly developed as an interior color exclusive to the hatch.

When it comes to performance, Next-Gen Mazda3 takes Zoom-Zoom enjoyment to a whole new level. It adopts Mazda’s new Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture, designed to enable drivers and passengers to enjoy a  natural sense of balance.

The powertrain lineup comprises the latest Skyactiv-G and Skyactiv-D engines, each of which provides responsive speed control in any driving situation.

Technology and connectivity have also taken a great leap forward. The new Mazda Connect system brings a host of connected systems to the newly design 8.8” touch screen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard.

Next-Gen Mazda3 includes a host of i-Activsense advanced safety technologies including new Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), alerting drivers to traffic approaching the front of the vehicle from either side. It also includes Mazda’s newly developed Driver Monitoring system.
